Official Rules

The ICPC Latin America Super Region comprises the following six regions:

• South America / Brazil
• Caribbean
• Central America
• Mexico
• South America / North
• South America / South

The 2025 Latin American Championship will be held in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, from March 13 to 16, 2025. Forty-two teams representing the six regions were promoted to this championship.

Let “N_WF” be the number of slots allocated to Latin America for the World Finals. Considering the results in the Championship:

• The champion of each of the six regions receives a slot.
• The remaining slots are allocated to the NW_F - 6 teams with the best overall performance.

Only one team from a given institution can advance to the World Finals.

• The highest-ranked team will be recognized as the ICPC Latin America Champion at the Awards Ceremony and will receive the trophy.
• Teams finishing in the top four positions will receive Gold Medals. Teams finishing fifth to eighth will receive Silver Medals. Teams finishing ninth to twelfth will receive Bronze Medals.
• The highest-ranked team from each ICPC Latin America Region will be recognized with the appropriate title: Caribbean Regional Champions, Brazil Champions, Mexico Champions, Central America Champions, South America / South Champions, and South America / North Champions.
